I created these illustrations during the continuing development and exploration of Indeed's brand identity.

Working closely with UX designers, I was tasked with exploring options for the company's illustration style as well as the design of iconography. The desire was to incorporate abstract yet human elements which would be used on various pages across Indeed.
I focussed mainly on basic shapes - squares, circles, rectangles - and incorporated thick black lines along with contrasting thin strokes. I experimented with static and animated images for use in product and in marketing materials.
A MORE HUMAN APPROACH
Over time and with the world changing due to Covid, it became clear that a more human illustration style would be more appropriate for the changing world. As a team we worked on the new design style and released the new brand identity in 2021.
